Competitive Edge has been amazingly transformative for my kids. We joined to help my youngest with behavioral challenges as he started kindergarten. He has gone from being written up and me receiving phone calls from the principal to his school reducing his RTI to only twice a month. His physical engagement has been less than once a week down from over ten issues weekly. As a result of him joining, I enrolled my other two children as well. I have seen their confidence and conflict/resolution improve in ways I hadn’t noticed that they needed. Coach K takes the time to work individually with each kid on a specific behavior plan so everyone can improve. We love this place and can’t say enough about it!

It is pricey but our daughter has become more disciplined, more confident, and really found a passion for MMA while training here!

My kids have a ton of energy, and when another taekwondo studio wouldn’t enroll my son because they thought he’d be too disruptive, this place welcomed us with open arms. In just eight months, they’ve grown so much—better listening, more confidence, and a real sense of accomplishment. This martial arts gym is a truly impactful place that has fostered incredible physical, mental, and emotional growth for my family and me. Led by the exceptional Head Coach Dean and Coach Tim, both of whom are remarkable teachers and mentors, the program offers a diverse range of training—including kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, judo, grappling, self-defense, and weapons defense—that challenges and strengthens our bodies. Over the past year, I’ve experienced significant improvements in my physical fitness, but more importantly, I've gained invaluable confidence and resilience, equipping me to tackle life’s challenges head-on. This training cultivates not only discipline and focus but also emotional intelligence and stress management, transforming how we handle adversity. The community here is supportive and encouraging, creating an environment that prioritizes holistic personal development. The kids’ program is particularly outstanding as it isn't a one-size-fits-all approach; the coaches meticulously tailor their instruction based on each child's unique character and personality. They truly care about the heart of each child, providing amazing opportunities for developing personal, relational, and real-world leadership skills.
