FusBoxe Sambo 1 Martial Arts

I just had my first Sambo class at Fuse Box in Centennial, and I have to say, training under Instructor Sullivan was one of the most humbling and enriching martial arts experiences I’ve ever had. With years of championship-level experience, Instructor Sullivan brings a rare blend of technical precision, deep knowledge of physical sciences, and a genuine passion for teaching. He took his time to break down the fundamentals in a way that made complete sense, focusing on the small but crucial details often overlooked. His approach is refreshingly grounded — there's no gimmicky hype or money-driven sales pitch, just pure dedication to the craft and his students. As someone who’s practiced martial arts for many years, I can confidently say Instructor Sullivan is one of the best coaches I’ve ever trained under. I’m excited to keep learning here.

One of my favorite places I’ve been to. Out of all the gyms I’ve trained at I’ve stuck here because I’ve never met a stranger at this gym. Everybody is beyond friendly and happy to help. I recently had my first Muay Thai fight and had coach Z as my head coach and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had. He was on top of everything as far as a coach but more importantly being a coach outside of the ring. My fight camp with my team has lead me to grow as a fighter and more so a person. It makes me happy seeing young kids come in and get to learn and connect with these coaches the same way I did when I was younger.

Fusbox is the very best. All the coaches, including but not limited to Coach Z and Coach Sullivan, are extremely attentive and engaging. I’ve gotten to train with Coach Z the most, and he is an extremely knowledgeable and capable martial artist and instructor. Over the course of more than a year that I’ve been going here, I have seen a huge increase in skill, fitness, and mindset. This place has truly been life changing, not only because of the quality of the training, but because of the quality of the whole community and the genuine connections I’ve gotten to make. Furthermore, the weight room is top notch which is a huge plus! 10/10, 5 stars, two thumbs up. Try it out.

This place is something special. I came here for Combat Sambo with little experience. So far I've had some great instructors that either specialize in Combat Sambo or another discipline that impoves C.Sambo... The environment is welcoming, both from instructors and fellow students. The facility is open and allows for multiple trainings at the same time. The founder- Michael Sullivan has a lot to offer from many years of experience in competition and is just a good dude all-around! I don't write many reviews but felt compelled to write one for Fusboxe as this place has been implemental in my personal journey as a fighter and further self development in general. All ages are welcome, from the youngin's, to the old farts, if you want to improve your physical/mental capacity I highly recommend giving it a go!
