This judo club is simply amazing. The staff cares deeply about their students and does a great job of teaching judo as well as allowing them to fall in love with the sport. I am so happy we found this club for my son!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mile High Judo Club Review As a professional martial artist who ran a full-time school for over 11 years, competed internationally, and coached athletes at that same level, I can say without hesitation that Mile High Judo Club is the real deal. After moving from Connecticut to Colorado, my family and I spent months searching for a dojo that offered more than just friendly faces and participation trophies. We visited several schools across the area, but none met the standard of technical excellence and personal growth we were looking for—until we found Sensei Matt and the team at Mile High Judo. From our daughter’s very first class, it was clear that this dojo stands apart. The instructors genuinely care about each student’s development, not just in martial arts but as people. Their approach balances encouragement with real, structured skill-building. This isn’t a belt factory—it’s a place where students earn their progress through effort, perseverance, and proper instruction. As both a dad and a sensei, I deeply appreciate that my daughter is learning authentic judo. She’s being challenged, she’s having fun, and she’s discovering that she can do things she once thought were impossible. Watching her confidence grow from real achievement rather than hollow praise has been inspiring. The adult program is equally outstanding—my wife and I recently joined, and the camaraderie and professionalism on the mat are second to none. The community here is warm, supportive, and grounded in respect and discipline. If you’re looking for a school that teaches true martial arts—not just flashy moves or quick promotions—but a place that builds character, discipline, and genuine skill, Mile High Judo Club is it. This is a dojo that delivers on its promise: show up, train hard, and you will grow.

Mile High Judo Club is the real deal. For a newer club (founded in 2024), the level of instruction, structure, and culture here is already outstanding. Sensei Matt Rogers and the coaching staff are truly skilled and detail-oriented. Tons of high-level insight on everything from newaza transitions to improving kumi-kata, nage-waza mechanics and timing. Class was run professionally with a great mix of conditioning, technical work, newaza, and randori, and the room felt safe, respectful, and focused the entire time. Even students with less than a year of training were moving well because the fundamentals are taught correctly. Clean facilities, plenty of mat space, and a strong team atmosphere that’s great for kids/teens and adults alike. If you want real judo, high standards, positive culture, and real improvement, this is the place!

When I found Mile High Judo in Denver, I was looking for a way to reignite my passion for martial arts. I had earned my brown belt in judo back in Texas but had stepped away from the sport to focus on my family and career. Over the years, I tried various martial arts, including trial ju-jitsu classes and Muay Thai, and spent time in the gym, but nothing quite satisfied that urge. Then I found Mile High Judo, and everything changed. I reached out to Matt, and within a week, I was back on the mat. From my very first class, that spark was reignited. Training here has not only helped me lose weight, but it’s also sharpened my focus on life and work. Matt and Danny have built an amazing community around judo in Denver, with a highly competitive roster of fighters and a supportive, welcoming environment. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned martial artist, Mile High Judo has something for everyone. Their judo classes are designed for all fitness levels, ages, and backgrounds. If you’re looking for a great workout, want to learn self-defense, or just try something new, this is the place to be. The instructors create an inclusive, encouraging environment where you can learn at your own pace. I highly recommend trying a trial class at Mile High Judo – it’s a life-changing experience!

MILE High Judo has been an incredible experience for my children even in their short time at the dojo—it's amazing to see their confidence and discipline grow each week. Coach Matt, the owner, sets the tone with his passionate, hands-on leadership and genuine care for every student. The entire coaching staff and fellow students encourage a positive culture where kids feel supported, motivated, and proud of their progress. Highly recommend! The negative reviews from 2mos ago are clearly a coordinated effort from the same person (review bomb). Protecting young underage students from harmful images is the responsible and professional action. Thank you Matt!
