National Martial Arts Academy

This academy is perfect for families. My kids look forward to every class because the coaches make training fun while still teaching respect, focus, and self-control. The environment is clean, safe, and very organized. I appreciate how the instructors genuinely care about each student’s progress. It’s rare to find a school that teaches both strong techniques and strong character, and this one does both beautifully.

I absolutely love this martial arts school! The instructors are incredibly helpful, patient, and truly dedicated to the kids. My children have grown so much in confidence, discipline, and skills since joining. I’m very grateful for everything they do. I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a safe, encouraging place where their children can learn and grow!

NMAA has been such a blessing for our family. The confidence they’re helping instill in my son is truly amazing. I’ve watched him grow not only in skill, but in the way he carries himself and believes in what he can do. Ms. Popp is incredibly patient, thorough, and so intentional with every lesson. We just completed our very first try out class at National Martial Arts Academy on Hampden in Aurora, the entire experience was great. The instructors were warm, attentive, and made sure we received plenty of attention, which really helped us feel comfortable right away. I loved how eager kids were to start the class. The form was good, I loved the initiative the students took, helping each other and correcting each other. Loved the discipline, positive attitude, and family feel of the group. We also loved learning about all the extracurricular activities the academy offers. There are fun events almost every month, summer camp is only $199/week. Loved how focused they were on creating a community and we are really looking forward to becoming part of the National Martial Arts Academy family.

We’ve been coming to the Academy for just shy of 3 years. Our son started at 4 years old and has progressed, matured and grown into a strong confident 7 year old with his green belt. He started his black belt journey, officially, last month and hope to achieve this in the next 3-4 years. One thing we love about this academy is you must truly earn your black belt. They aren’t just handed out. My husband has also started their kickboxing class, about six months ago, and comes home feeling great everytime.
