Onyx is a beautiful gym, filled with beautiful people and high level jujitsu. There's gi and nogi classes, and a very decent schedule. The mats feel clean, people are respectful, and it's a family friendly environment while having really skilled practitioners. I love their weekly competition class (invite only). I've been in BJJ for 10+ years and a coach for 3+. Trained at dozens of gyms with world-class competitors. I recommend Onyx

Came and visited from Michigan for a weekend and was recommended Onyx. It is truly a special gym to go to. Everyone was super welcoming and nice as soon as I walked through the doors. Class was structured and ran great. If you’re looking for a Jiu Jitsu gym to call home, or simply stopping by, I HIGHLY recommend Onyx.

I have been to Onyx Jiu Jitsu only a few times but the environment there is really friendly and I cannot say enough about the coaches. Coach Isaiah is fantastic, he is very knowledgeable and excellent at explaining topics and moves. As a brand new person it was really intimating to try Jiu Jitsu but the crowd there was really welcome and introduced themselves to me immediately, It helped me feel more at ease. There were people there of all levels and the upper belts did a great job of taking it easy on me. I was especially glad that they were not frustrated having to deal with a new person, in fact they were happy to roll with me

Our daughter has been attending classes at Onyx for years now. All of the instructors are great with both kids and adults. She has learned so much from them and loves being part of their family.
