I highly recommend PKK karate school for everyone. Teachers (Sensei) they are the best combo couple when it comes to teaching. They welcome everyone and make sure that no one feels left out in the class, always give modications if needed in any case. They not only teach karate but also teach important life lessons. I can see the confidence building up in every student. They are the nicest person I have ever met. New update: Another advantage of choosing this place. Owners not only welcome your kidos and you with open arms but also your pets (offcourse with your own responsibilty). I am watching my friend’s dog and at first I was hesitant about where she could stay during the lessons but sensei said “Bring her in…it’s much cooler in here and we are pet friendly”. (Whenever you ran out of options about where your pet can go, no need to worry about it, if you choose PKKA) Also right next to this place there is a big, beautiful dog park. What else you could ask for!!!! Amazing environment to learn + Phenomenal people… ❤️❤️

We love PKKA Highlands Ranch! My daughter has been attending lessons here for three years and our expectations have been exceeded in every way. We really feel like family and the instruction our senseis provide is tailored to each person’s needs. My daughter gets challenged but also receives very personal instruction. I recommend this dojo for people of all ages!

PKK-Highlands Ranch has been a wonderful place for our young daughter to learn Kenpo and self defense. More importantly, the dojo is a safe community that fosters self-confidence, discipline, teamwork, and respect. Sensei Susan, Sensi Kendall, and Sensei Tanner are inspiring instructors who see each student’s unique potential and work closely with each student to bring out their very best. Our daughter loves Kenpo and chooses to come three days a week! Thank you!

READ YOUR CONTRACT, AND CHECK YOUR FEES. This is an addendum to my original review which I posted a year ago. My three kids completed three years of karate study at PKKA Highlands Ranch, and we have decided to step away from the dojo for a few reasons. When we informed the dojo that we would be ending our participation at the end of our third year, the Sensi told us that we would need to pay $299 per student to do so. It is, ambiguously written, in the contract that we signed. We were also charged an additional fee for many months for all three of our kids to be part of the "team" class, which only my son participated in for the last year. As I write this review, my kids are at the dojo saying goodbye to their Senseis and my husband is delivering the cancellation fee. The Ohana (family) foundation is not as solid as the owners would like you to believe. In the end, it is all about the money. Pay attention to your monthly fees and be ready for your goodbye to cost you.
