I joined Surge Kickboxing 8 months ago looking for Karate for my son and a fun whole body workout for me. I didn't expect joining to change my life like it has. My son found a new confidence in Karate and has made lifelong friends. With the support of the trainers and members, I have transformed my body and my mindset. The people here have been an irreplaceable support system. The trainers are knowledgeable while still being patient and kind. I feel like I have found my people and my gym. I can't say thank you enough to Mike, the trainers (especially Mel, Taylor, and Steve), and all the members that have welcomed me into this community. We love SK!

Every workout at Surge is versatile, challenging, and fun. Whether coming in for the high intensity circuit with the infamous Surge namesake pad round, or seeking technical improvement from the karate and striking classes, I always leave the gym fulfilled. I'm even more impressed with the comraderie and support of the trainer and gym community as a whole. The coaches pay attention to what you want to work on, offer valuable suggestions, and just overall care about what happens on and off the mat. Couldn't be more grateful to stumble on this gem of a gym a year ago. Kudos, Mike and crew!

If you want to be challenged and have fun, Surge is the place to be. The different stations and workouts keep things fresh—after over a year, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a daily program repeated. Steve leads the morning sessions and is incredibly knowledgeable. He knows exactly how to push you: “You can pick up the little heavier weights,—just a few more rounds!” The 1x1 round is intense but leaves you feeling accomplished. The 9 three-minute rounds fly by, and you get a full, effective workout in under an hour. The team is passionate, supportive, and creates the perfect environment to grow. I feel stronger, faster, and overall more fit. If you put in the work, you’ll see results.
