The team at Delaware Jiu Jitsu was welcoming when I dropped in for an open mat over a long weekend. I was in the area visiting family and was glad I was able to get some rolls in. It was a nice clean facility with a good vibe. I’ll definitely come back again when I’m in the area.

I wanted to learn something useful, something real. I signed up at Delaware Jiu-Jitsu expecting it to be hard, and it was. But it was also interesting. Every class felt like a puzzle — where to put your hand, how to escape, how to trap. The mats are clean, the space is chill, and no one tries to act like they’re better than you. Now I look forward to it. And I’ve got something that feels more useful than six-pack abs.

My son has been attending for almost two years and absolutely loves it! The instructors are amazing, and he’s learned more practical self-defense in six months here than he did in two years of karate. Highly recommend!
