This is an island jewel! I have previous experience in Shotokan, Boxing, and Capoeira and found a new home at RDCA. The staff, the Duzoglou family of Senseis, and the students are all incredible humans beings. Kind and understanding always. I also found great sparring and grappling partners in the adult class which was amazing given I needed training in jiu-jitsu and was surprised to love the practice of weapon katas. All around great academy of the combative arts.

Enrolling into RDCA MMA has been a transformative experience for my children. The way in which they manage to impart knowledge is truly exceptional. Sensei Derek possess an extraordinary ability to connect with children, earning their trust and respect in a manner that is both inspiring and remarkable. He is not just a wonderful Sensei who keeps the children engaged and active throughout the sessions; he also wins over their hearts and trust while maintaining strict discipline. What sets this dojo apart is not just its focus on martial arts but also, along with Sensei Morgan and Sensei Robert, its commitment to helping with potential behavioral and emotional issues that may arise during a child's development. This holistic approach to teaching and personal development is invaluable. I am beyond grateful for the positive impact they have had on my children, specially on my son. On a personal note, the individuals at this dojo are wonderful and respectful people. Their dedication to the well-being and growth of the children is evident in everything they do. I had an amazing experience! I’ve been wanting to take a self defense class for a while now and I came to the right place for sure. We were welcomed by sensei Robert and Sensei Derek at the academy. Derek is an amazing instructor, he is an expert in Martial Arts and he made sure everyone was learning and participating in the group activities. He also worked one-on-one with us to ensure we were understanding the techniques required to defend oneself. I highly recommend RDCA MMA 😊 Thank you for everything sensei Robert, Derek and Morgan!!

RDCA MMA has been my second home and family for the past ten years. When I started I was a very shy and timid girl, they welcomed me with open arms and were able to transform me in to this strong (mentally and physically) independent woman. They helped me get over almost all of my fears and led me to have the confidence to be able to reach for so many goals and taught me how to give my best and work hard towards accomplishing them. I grew a great bond to all of the Sensei's as each of them has given me wisdom that I will always carry with me. Sensei Morgan has been almost like an older sister to me, giving me the best advice as I had been growing up while also keeping me in check and teaching me how to kick butt. Sensei Derek has taught me many life lessons, mostly in the way of pulling me out of my bubble and giving me leadership positions, which helped me grow as an individual. And sensei Robert just radiates wisdom, so many stories :), he is such a vibrant person to be around and a great person to learn from. My time spent at RDCA has led me to lifelong friendships and was/is such a huge part of my life that I couldn't imagine myself not being a student there, I will forever be an RDCA MMA black belt.
