American Karate Academy #1 MMA/Karate School in Bird Rd Miami

We had an amazing experience at AKA, American Karate Academy. The instructors are top-notch knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about teaching. The environment is welcoming and motivating, making every class a positive and enriching experience. We truly appreciate everything our son learned and the community we became a part of. Unfortunately, we had to leave because we recently moved, but we highly recommend this school to anyone looking to put their child in karate in a supportive and professional school. We definitely miss Mr. Garcia, Mrs. Garcia, Mr. Allen, the staff and being a part of this great community!

My daughter attends MMA classes at AKA. I am constantly impressed by the professionalism of Mr. Garcia & his amazing staff. They take their responsibility to teach the discipline very seriously. And the classes go beyond the physical skills the students acquire. When they say “Knowledge in the Mind, Honestly in the Heart, & Strength in the Body”, they mean it & focus on honing all those elements. My daughter loves the classes so much that she decided to have her birthday party there. I thought it would be cool beforehand, but the reality exceeded all of my expectations. As with their classes, the party was visually stunning, fun for the kids & entertaining for the parents, while somehow still complying with their core goals of Knowledge in the Mind, Honestly in the Heart & Strength in the Body… well, also pizza & cake in the body. ;) As you can see, I’m a happy patron. Be aware, however, that Mr. Garcia is very disciplined & he expects no less from his students. If you think your child is up for it, or if you want them to build that discipline, you can find no better place.

We are super happy and blessed to find American Karate Academy for our son. Mr and Mrs Garcia are wonderful persons and super professionals. Our son is so exited with the classes and he love his master since day one, that talks a lot about the magic and the impact that Master Garcia has with the kids. I super recommended

My son has been going to AKA for almost 2 years and we love them! Mr Garcia is excellent at teaching kids, encouraging them and pushing them to be the best they can be. My kid gained a lot of confidence and the mixed martial arts philosophy helps build character. He also has made good friends through it!

This academy is fantastic, Master Garcia is an excellent martial arts instructor with a lot of experience. Master Allan is also wonderful. The place is always clean and all the staff is very friendly. The children are very happy
