I made the best decision choosing this gym for my kids to learn BJJ. From the moment I walked in (October 2022) Daniel was very warm and welcoming and came introduced himself, providing information and offered my kids (7 &13) to jump in the same day. In such a short time my kids have learned so much not only from Daniel but everyone who comes here because it is a very family, friendly dynamic. Bryant and Alexis train the kids class and they are FANTASTIC and so incredibly patient! They provide the kids discipline with lots of love. They are super driven to bring out the best in our children. My boys love coming here and being apart of this team - it has never felt like a chore for them. We will definitely be at this gym for the long run so look no further! Highly recommend!

Amazing BJJ Academy all the way around. From their kids program to the advanced adults classes, sports bjj or self defense, theres something for everyone. My kids joined their program and have gained not only valuable Jiu Jitsu technical knowledge but also confidence and have an awesome time team-building with their classmates. The kids classes are one big family unit! Alexis and Bryant do an awesome job!!! Keep it up boys!!! On the adult side Daniel runs an amazing program thats easy to understand and apply to your game right away. Every day you'll be adding to your skill and building confidence. There are multiple time slots available to work around most busy schedules so you can go through your journey at your own pace. If you're on the fence about visiting come on by! I visited Daniel Perez over this weekend and got a chance to train with him and his students and they are top notch. Daniel shares high level Jiu jitsu in a very friendly environment. The students are competitive in both bjj and mma, but most importantly the training room is safe and accommodating. I will be sure to visit every time I am in Miami!

We go to Daniel’s gym as a family. My self, husband and my three kids are part of the Daniel Perez jiu Jitsu family! This is our second home for us and our kids. Our kids love their coaches, we build a friendship with all the kids and they are all now like siblings in their own way. We love Daniel he makes us laugh each day as his showing us ways to defend ourselves and choke some people out 😂. We definitely made the right choice by joining Daniels Pérez Jiu Jitsu.

I’ve been to many martial arts schools over the years in the Kendall area and I’ve seen my fair share of awful schools or so called Mc Dojos lol. But man does Daniel Perez Jiu-Jitsu Academy stand out as one of the greats. Even though I’ve only had the chance to observe two classes, it was clear right away that this place is on another level. The instruction here is top-notch, and you can feel the influence of Demian Maia in the way they focus on technique and precision. The students here are genuinely dedicated, and the environment is both intense and welcoming. After seeing so many schools that didn’t meet expectations, and that were just straight trash.. it’s refreshing to find a place like Daniel Perez Jiu-Jitsu Academy. Truly amazing!!
