Family Martial Arts Academy

An awesome, welcoming environment! My son has been going there for about 5 years. The instructors are great with all the kiddos. My son has a tough time concentrating but they are all very patient with him, especially Brandon. In fact, this has also helped our son improve his memory skills and do better in school. Strongly and highly recommend for all kids!

Family Martial Arts has been amazing for my two daughters and me! We’ve been going for about 2½ months, and my girls have learned discipline, structure, and the value of hard work. They’re now earning their Yellow Belts! We train Monday–Thursday, and after class, they’re so fulfilled (and tired) that screens don’t even cross their minds. I also take the adult class right after theirs, which sets a great example. Sensei Kevin, Sensei Adrian, Sensei Ethan, and the whole team are incredible. Highly recommend!

I’ve been attending this martial arts dojo for over three and a half years, and I truly appreciate the warm encouragement from the senseis to do our very best. They teach Goju Ryu, which is one of the original forms of karate, a style that’s quite rare since most martial arts schools focus on taekwondo or jiu-jitsu. I’ve visited many dojos, and Family Martial Arts stands out with its unique, authentic approach. I always feel so welcomed here, even if I haven’t been able to come to class for a while. A big thank you to Sensei Kevin and Sensei Armenteros for their patience and dedication in teaching us adults. I highly recommend coming here if you want to build strength, agility, and focus. This is a great place to release any stress that life brings.

I looked at a lot of martial art schools before I joined here. The reason I joined is not only because they were professional, but they actually taught very good martial art classes. I feel a lot of schools just give away the belts. The black belts look professionally made. The kids are always smiling and the workout are phenomenal. Everyone leaves every class sweating.
