I’ve been a wrestler since I was a kid and have had a lot of success doing so at high level and even up to college, So when I had my boys I wanted them to have the same success or better. It’s been hard to find a good training center that actually knows what they are doing even more so to show my kids the right way other than them just hearing it from “dad”. Derek and his coaches have met that expectation and more. I’m glad I found them and would recommend them to anyone. And I’ve seen and been to other gyms and believe me when I say this is the place

This academy builds character like confidence, sportsmanship, mental toughness and create a positive structured, yet fun environment that pushes kids to improve both on and off the mat, making them better people and wrestlers. We absolutely love Goal Catchers Wrestling! My kids have been training there for 4 years, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about them. Especially the owner and head coach, Coach Derick. He is hands down the best coach ever. He's more than just a coach; he’s an incredible role model for my kids (any kid for that matter). He truly cares about every single student, not just on the mats but off the mats too. Over the years, he has been there for my kids every step of the way.. guiding them, advising them, encouraging them, and believing in them and what REALLY sets him apart is how deeply invested he is. He shows up for their competitions, even the ones he isn’t officially coaching, just to support them and cheer them on. Coach Derick has become part of our family, and we truly hope he stays in my kids’ lives forever. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the intensity and dedication in the air. The coaching staff is phenomenal. They bring not only deep technical knowledge and experience but also a genuine passion for the sport and for developing each athlete. The facility itself is top-tier and fully equipped with quality mats and training gear. The sessions are well-structured, with a mix of drilling, live wrestling, conditioning, and mental training. There’s also a strong sense of community—athletes push each other, respect each other, and grow together. My son has been with Goal Catchers for the past 3 years and it has changed and transformed him into someone no one thought it would. We couldn’t be more grateful and happy to be part of Goal Catchers Wrestling.

I am very happy that we enrolled our little boys here. They’ve gotten SO good! They have won multiple competitions. Coaches are professional and friendly. They love the sport and care about the kiddos. I am happy here. My boys like it as well.
