My kids really enjoy classes here. The coaches are knowledgeable, patient and make sure the kids stay disciplined. There are always extra helpers on the mat so every child gets supervision. The whole place feels welcoming, familiar and clean. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

We had been looking for a while for the right place to enroll our little boy so he could build strength and gain more self-confidence. This Jujitsu academy is absolutely amazing! The environment is family-friendly, and the instructors are incredibly kind, patient, and great with kids. Our son loves coming here, and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!

My son Jacob has experienced remarkable growth and development since he began his journey at Gracie Barra. In just a short span of two months, he has absorbed an incredible wealth of knowledge and skills that have truly transformed his perspective and abilities. improved in all areas, his self discipline has increased as well as his confidence!

This academy has truly been a blessing for our family. My son started training here, and from the very first day we felt welcomed like we were part of something special. The atmosphere is so positive and family-oriented that I couldn’t resist joining too. The coaches aren’t just amazing teachers, they are patient, kind, and genuinely care about each student’s growth on and off the mat. It doesn’t just feel like training jiu jitsu, it feels like being part of a family. We’re so thankful to have found this community!

I’m writing this review to express my serious concern about how the owner of this jiu-jitsu academy handled an incident involving my son and I. A student made an inappropriate comment to him — “Tell your father to stop touching me.” And did the secretary of the school told me also that the parents told her to tell me that also. . “They (the school) also indicated that student has two mothers!” This type of language is unacceptable, especially in an environment that claims to teach respect, discipline, and character. Despite bringing the matter to the owner’s attention, there was no accountability, no apology, and no effort to resolve the issue. As a parent, I expected professional conduct and integrity from the leadership of such a well-regarded school. Unfortunately, that was not the case. It’s disappointing to see a respected martial arts academy ignore behavior that contradicts the very values it teaches. PLEASE DON’T LIE! You has the owner never did a thing for us. The student had no accountability for what he said and NEVER APOLOGIZED TO MY SON! Too bad my SON never got respect from this school. THE CULTURE THERE IS SPOILING KIDS VS HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE! ILL NEVER ALLOW MY SON TO BE A PART OF THIS SYSTWM. Please don’t be fouled by the name of the school especially south miami one!
