MMA Monsters

Been getting private classes for 4 months now. I've yet to find a better coach who breaks down each class so its easy to understand and fast to learn. I look forward to each and every class!

Many coaches tried talking me into using a Gi but could never convince me until now. A wrestler learning submissions is a challenge but using a Gi allows you to utilize the same discipline while slowly introducing you to Jiu Jitsu or Judo. Then, this gym combines these disciplines into it's MMA sessions. I love the rolling sessions whether its Gi, no Gi, or MMA. It gives you real life challenges at a slower pace. I love the location of the gym, altruism of the coaches, camaraderie of the athletes, vets or not, young and old, and the family atmosphere, starting with Coach Valdir Araujo and his wife.

First day at the gym I must say everybody was welcoming and a challenged on the matt. Also coaches took his time and patient with me with his teaching. Now patiently waiting to become discipline with my craft

Visiting Jiu Jitsu academies during the vacation is great experience. This time I found @mmamonster in Hollywood, FL and what a gem it is! Lead coach Professor Valdir Araujo is a high level judoca, elite grappler and accomplished MMA fighter. He and his crew truly made me feel like home from the moment I stepped in. Place is spacious and very well maintained. Great rolls, a lot of knowledge to process and I will definitely be back next time I am in Florida.

I highly recommend. The owners and instructors are extremely nice and patient with new students. Both my kids and I take Jiujitsu clases. I had not done Jiujitsu in over a decade got back and the instructors are super nice very professional and very knowledgeable. My kids love it. Worth it.
