Inner City Wrestling has been a great find!! Amazing organization and well run. We have been faithful customers for years because of the strong leadership skills the coaches are teaching my kids. I would recommend this club to anyone. You won't find a more knowledgeable, caring, motivating coach out there than Wilbert Johnson. Coach will literally give you the shirt off his back and will stop at nothing to make sure all kids get a chance. I've witnessed Coach Johnson and the other coaches and mentors in the club (Coach Ford, Coach Miller), time and again, donate and volunteer their time to benefit the youth in the community. Coach Johnson has a saying "One Bond, One Pack" about his Predators at Inner City Wrestling... it's family. I only regret not being able to leave a review of more than 5 stars!!

If you want your child to get the fundamentals of wrestling while learning to respect others in and out of the sport....Inner City Wrestling is home! We are proud parents of a student athlete for the past five years which has called Wilbert Johnson “Coach”. From a 85 pound wired kid with zero technique to a senior in high school with excellent technical wrestling. Mr. Johnson is much more than a Coach, he is family to us for life. Family atmosphere and excellent volunteer technicians as well. This sport is not for everyone but ICW should be.

Coach Johnson is amazing with the kids. He has over 50 years wrestling experience and stays up to date with all modern wrestling techniques. I can't think of a better place for my son to learn wrestling

Inner City Wrestling with coach Wilbert Johnson has been a blessing for my son and our family. Not only is this a great place for your son or daughter to learn the sport of amateur wrestling but the basic principles of hard work, dedication and determination which will carry over to life.

Great place to bring your child regardless of gender to learn not only how to wrestle but to apply all the skills learned in that room to life. Great clinicians walk through those doors day in and day out. What coach Johnson has been able to put together is amazing.
