I went to their anniversary event recently where they had open gym all day and had classes throughout the day for us to try out. The classes I ended up going to were held by an instructor there by the name of Max. He is very friendly and kind and genuinely a great instructor. He really does a good job of making everyone feel included and safe. (He is the instructor for things like kickboxing/MMA stuff). I ended up getting the membership and leaving my home gym that shall not be named. I often struggle with getting comfortable with people I don’t know but all the staffs’ kindness gave me the confidence to try a yoga class today. The instructor was Nicole. She also is amazing and kind. After her class today I felt so much better. I plan to take her classes again. I’m excited to try other classes. Another thing is one day I had left/lost my boxing gloves after one of the kickboxing conditioning classes. I came back the next day asking if someone had found them and turned them in. Unfortunately they didn’t find them but my mother went back without my knowledge to talk to them about it/try to find them because she was upset. After she told me she had done that, I was very concerned because I didn’t want to be that annoying customer (because tbh it was my fault). But she said the girl at the front desk, I wish I knew her name, was kind and really went out of her way to help out. Long story short, I got my gloves back. Instructor Max had found them and was able to give them back to me. I had been going to gym that shall not be named for years and I never had any experiences there that were nearly as kind and welcoming and friendly. I’ve only been at UFC for like,, 3 weeks? and I already feel infinitely better. I also love the UFC app and how easy it is to sign up for scheduled classes. Overall 10/10

Here's the updated review: "Had an incredible experience training with Coach Eduardo Rosado at USC's jujutsu session today! The training was intense, informative, and tons of fun. Coach Rosado broke down techniques with clarity and enthusiasm. Highly recommend for all skill levels! 😊" Hope that works!

I’ve been waiting for a refund (not getting it anymore) and a call from one of the manager for a month to get a condescending email a month and 10 days after my initial issue. I called over 10 times to talk to Victor and today he blessed me with an answer after someone from the staff had confirmed he had refunded me a month ago. Turns out no refund. The way this gym treats its customers is astonishing. A shame because I truly enjoyed going there.

The biggest problem with this gym is the manager, Diego. He is rude, offensive, condescending, and completely unprofessional. Any attempt to raise concerns is met with attitude and disrespect. He has no business managing people, let alone a gym. The environment itself isn’t any better. It’s extremely male-dominated, with nonstop screaming and weight slamming like basic gym etiquette doesn’t exist. The place constantly smells musty, and the AC is frequently broken, making workouts uncomfortable at best and unbearable at worst. After being a member for over a year and a half, this was the final straw. If you’re looking for a clean, respectful, and well-managed gym—look elsewhere.

I signed up online for a 3-day pass to try out the gym. I received follow-up calls from a salesperson, which was expected. I asked to be called back after work since I was genuinely interested, but never received a callback. I even tried calling twice myself without getting an answer. A few days later, I decided to use the pass I had received via email and planned to meet a friend who is already a member. Upon arrival, a salesperson greeted me and offered a tour, which I happily accepted. After discussing my fitness goals, he asked if I had time to “work with him.” Assuming he was referring to personal training (which I wasn’t interested in), I explained that I would be working out with my friend. At that point, he told me I needed his approval to work out without guidance and asked me to perform squats in a corner of the gym. While I complied, the situation felt awkward and unnecessary — especially since my friend had arrived and was waiting. When I reiterated that I would be working out with her, he informed me that I would have to pay roughly $20 to exercise unless I signed up on the spot. He also stated that it was “impossible” for me to have the 3-day pass, despite me showing it in my email. According to him, the only way to receive that pass was directly from a sales representative. He even attempted to have my friend obtain a guest pass instead. After an uncomfortable back-and-forth, he eventually said “it wasn’t that deep” and allowed me to work out for that day. The workout itself was fine. The equipment was good, the gym wasn’t overcrowded, and the class offerings looked appealing. However, due to the aggressive sales approach and the fact that I was effectively only allowed to use one day of my 3-day pass, I decided not to pursue a membership. Overall, the experience left a poor impression.
