While in Orlando I dropped in to train here. Ben and his students were welcoming, and great training partners. Sparring was technical and tough, yet safe. I definitely recommend this dojo to those who would like to learn submission grappling.

Awesome culture, live rounds, and instruction! I'm a 25 year old competitive judo black belt and I go to a lot of nogi open mats around the country. The "10 Round Tuesdays" (10 consecutive 5 minute live rounds) at 10th Planet Orlando, that I've started going to for the past month, is definitely my favorite. There is a wide spectrum of skill levels, ages, and weights. There are brand new white belts learning the basics all the way to pro MMA fighters, which allows you to choose your intensity/competition level you want to train at. The head instructor Ben Saunders is a former UFC fighter and an absolute walking talking nogi encyclopedia. If you're considering coming, trust me- you'll be happy you did!!

Stopped by one day for an open mat. Space is nice and clean. There wasn’t many ladies but the guys I met were cool and I had a good time. I would definitely return for another open mat in the future.

I have trained under a handful of black belts, and Ben is by far the best. He puts safety and smart training at the top of his priorities. Most credible fight coach around.
