1Up Martial Arts

Been coming for 3 years and we LOVE 1up! Best karate teachers ever- from Duke. Mom says this is the best for kid’s development, confidence and building character. We love oneup! 2024- we love 1up and have been going for a year. 2025- everything you could hope for in fitness, character and teamwork for your child! 1up always exceeds our expectations and we truly value our relationships with the martial arts coaches.

My daughter who is autistic has done amazing here. She listens well to the instructors and there so good with all the littles. Mr. Henry, Mr. Felix, Miss Dee, Miss Karen are the best team there is out there. I cant wait to see what happens to my daughter in the next few months.

My daughter has been part of 1Up Martial Arts family for almost a year. This have help her develop a set of skills that goes even farther than just kicks and punches. She's a lot more open, confident and less angry and moody. The instructors also share such important stories and day to day experiences and how the kids can manage them in a safe and helpful way. I'm in love with the experience and so is Azhull!

I was skeptical about starting my kid in martial arts, but after being referred we had to try it! Our kiddo LOVES spending her time at 1Up. She's made new friends and has gained confidence we've never seen from her before. She's pushed herself in new ways with the best guidance from her mentors. You can tell they have a passion for what they do and that they truly care about the families who attend. I will forever recommend them to friend who want to try out martial arts.

I’ve been with 1up for one year since my boy was 4, both my boy and I love the studio! The instructors and Deena and Sarah are so helpful, I love the way they are with those 3-6 years old kids. Don’t think 3-4 years won’t learn anything from karate, actually my son learnt following rules, respecting others, team working and of course many karate skills! I like they set up goals for each class, and they pay attention to each child. Earning stripes is actually a challenge but not a necessary thing. They encourage kids to be a better self! My son had his 5th birthday party at the studio, everyone was enjoying especially the kids. I have to say my experience with 1up so far is awesome! I highly recommend parents in winter park and nearby try their trial class, I think your kids and you will love them too!
