Alliance Jiu Jitsu/Bruno Malfacine is the only place in the USA where you can come learn daily from a 10x World Champion. As great as Bruno is at Jiu Jitsu, he's an even better instructor. Bruno and his staff are so friendly that they will make you feel like part of a family from the moment you arrive. The academy offers an extensive schedule and the entire facility is air conditioned. The premium mats are laid on top of a cushioned subfloor, locker rooms with showers, and an optional towel service. There are other academies to choose from in Orlando. However, you have an opportunity to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from the "Michael Jordan" of the sport. Why would you go anywhere else? At Alliance Jiu Jitsu/Bruno Malfacine every day is a seminar.

I’ve been training at Bruno Malfacine’s Alliance Orlando Academy since late 2021 and it all started with me trying to find the right environment for my daughter to train at. My 15 year old daughter trains with the adults and will hit two years in January 2026. Everyone has always been incredibly welcoming, respectful, and supportive of her growth. My 4 year old has also been training for a couple of months now and the kids program is outstanding. It’s well structured, always has plenty of instructors and every child practically gets one on one attention from the instructors. As a family, we have nothing but great things to say about this academy. The environment, instruction and culture are top tier. Highly recommend Alliance Orlando to anyone looking to train Jiu-Jitsu. It’s a true Orlando/College Park gem.

I had the chance to drop in at Alliance BJJ in Orlando while visiting the area, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment I walked in, everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful, which meant a lot to me as a fairly new BJJ practitioner. The class focused on spider/lasso guard, and the instruction was top-notch. Carlos, the instructor, brought an enthusiastic and patient energy to the mat, making sure everyone understood the details and felt comfortable with the techniques. His ability to break things down for different levels was excellent. The team culture here is positive, encouraging, and professional. You can tell they value both the art and the students who come through the door. If you’re lucky enough to live in the Orlando area—or even just passing through—I would highly recommend Alliance BJJ. A stunning facility, world class professors, classes for all levels and a friendly training atmosphere for Jiu Jitsu practitioners at all stages of their martial arts journey. As a white belt still early in my training I didn’t want to miss two weeks of mat time while I traveled to Orlando for work. So on the recommendation of a friend I checked out Bruno Malfacine’s academy after touching down to Florida. Clear signage, lots of parking and a spacious lobby made locating and navigating to the gym extremely convenient. The front reception staff (a Jiu Jitsu purple belt) was not only extremely knowledgeable and professional, he provided excellent customer service regarding the best membership options. Ten time world champion Bruno Malfacine teaches fundamentals for white belts all the way through to advanced classes for champion black belts. His extremely comprehensive curriculum chains together moves each class and progresses every week of the curriculum guaranteeing you’ll learn a sequence that can immediately be applied both for self defense and competition settings. In addition to group lessons I took 1:1 sessions with both owner Bruno as well as his head of staff purple belt Steven. Both were phenomenal experiences. For those looking for a more economical option to drill down on the fundamentals I strongly recommend investing in a five pack or more of lessons with Steven. His mini master course of Jiu Jitsu fundamentals is a game changer for white belts. I had a wonderful experience at this gym and look forward to training there again on my next trip to the area.
