I used to train here. I started training again at another school (long story), but, this is a great school. I recently got therapy, something I desperately needed in my life. Unfortunately I was coming here at a time where things were difficult for me , but every now and then, I'll see a familiar face from this school, and they remember me like it was yesterday. That should be a testament to the quality of the instructor here, who has amazing jiu jitsu. His name is Paul Rodriguez. If you're a beginner, pace yourself with the schedule. Don't burn yourself out like I did. 😂

I cannot recommend this gym enough! After moving to Orlando I was looking for a new spot to train and was immediately welcomed by the ATT team with open arms. Xena was so kind and informative both on the phone and in person when I came to try some classes. I came to train Muay Thai but ended up trying out jiu jitsu as well, both have been fantastic and I’m learning a ton! Each of the coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and always open to answer questions or work through any challenges with you. I was nervous as a total newbie to BJJ but everyone (coaches and peers) have been judgement free and all around amazing to learn from! The community here is strong and welcoming, full of such kind individuals and amazing training partners. I was also happy to find that there are a bunch of other ladies who train here as well! I would 100% recommend this gym to anyone thinking about it!!

Great choice for bjj and probably the best value gym you'll find in Orlando despite the big name. Big facility with changing rooms and bathrooms for both men and women, two large mats, great schedule that allows you to be flexible in your training, and a great amount of tough women (and men) to train with. Then, of course, the lovely and welcoming front desk woman, Xena. The owner, Paul Rodriguez, is probably the most well-known and well-respected coach in the East Orlando area if not the entirety of Orlando. If you mention ATT in Orlando (there are multiple), people will automatically ask if you train with Paul and make some mention about how great a coach he is. If I were to describe the coaching style of Paul and the other coaches, it would be detail oriented. They teach important and fundamental movements with great attention to detail. They clearly care about what they're teaching and are totally invested in class and to see their students progress and stay safe. I trained there for about a year when I lived in Orlando, and many of the moves I've learned there are key components of my game now. Orlando has a multitude of gyms to train at, but you cannot go wrong training at ATT Orlando.

Great school, friendly staff and people to work out with! Each and every Coach is amazing, but I don't think they all like to be called Coach. I'm still figuring it out. Xena single handedly does an amazing job at the front desk and is also a student. There's zero sales pressure here. You just train and have fun. This is a school that attracts a lot of students who have been other places and ultimately choose this school. That right there speaks volumes! They've got BJJ (both gi & no-gi, fundamentals, advanced and sparring), Muay Thai (fundamentals, advanced, sparring and bag and pads) and MMA. Training times are mornings 6-7am, afternoon 12-1pm and multiple classes evenings from 5-9pm. They're open 7 days a week! They also have all those same classes for kids which I rarely watch but when I do see them briefly before my class starts, the kids are always having fun. Some people train only grappling, others only striking and some do all classes. So you can pick whatever your interest is and if you change your mind later, you can do that, too. I'm an older guy and nobody tries to injure me. Everyone is cool and helpful to workout with and that's important. I've been going 5 months and it's serious fun, plus it's a great workout. I almost always leave exhausted which is exactly what I signed up for and I've lost 15 lbs already. They've got AC, soft mats, water fountains, dressing rooms, a chill area for people watching and LOTS of room to workout. So much matt space! The place is cleaned head to toe nightly A+ You don't have to have expensive school uniforms like many places, so you can wear whatever you own even if it's from a previous school or buy whatever you like online and save money getting what you really want. Definitely highly recommended! The place is perfect! You must check it out!
