Black Belt Center

Black Belt Center is an outstanding place! The owners are great people, and the instructor is highly skilled and genuinely passionate about helping students grow regardless of their experience level. The facility is clean and well equipped creating a welcoming atmosphere. My children have enjoyed their summer/school break camps and instruction.

My daughter has been taking karate lessons with Mr. Mike since she was five years old and she is now a big eight. She thoroughly enjoys learning the forms and techniques. Her face lights up when she shares her experiences at Black Belt with us, because she loves it so much. She's determined to become a black belt and even open her own dojo - the stars are the limit and karate is helping her gain the skills and confidence to achieve her goals.

I and my three kids have gone to Black Belt Center for many years, starting when my youngest was around 4 years old. They all reached blue belt or higher and I have reached black belt. Master Mike is an amazing teacher: patient, creative and dedicated. I have seen him work with all kinds of kids in all kinds of environments: in classes, summer camps, testing, and demonstrations. He is always great with the kids and non-judgmental. I have been to this school constantly for the last 8 years and have only the highest ratings for Master Mike and how the school is run.

I have had the pleasure of knowing the owners of the this fine place for almost 20 years now. My wife and i take our daughter here, funny how things work. Since day one our baby has had fun in class and has learned so much. From weapons to forms i would say she is well rounded and is still learning. We thank you Mike and Nancy for the learning experience our daughter is having. We recommend the Black belt center proudly. Two thumbs up.

I love this place! I was looking for a place where my son could boost his self esteem, confidence and learn discipline and I found black belt center! The staff is great, my son feels safe and has gotten the boost I was looking for.. He is really engaged when he is there. I never seen him more calm and focused before seeing him there. The only thing that I don't like is the lack of focus and energy in the other kids with higher belts. Doesn't seem like they put much effort into it. I hope that my son doesn't fall into that, because if he did I would want him to be pushed to always do better. But besides that they are great!!! and my son LOVES Karate!
