Central Florida Kyokushin

IKO Central Florida Kyokushin Karate Hawaii Branch is a traditional full contact martial arts dojo. The Dojo's follows the philosophy and teachings of Masutatsu Oyama, who was the founder of Kyokushinkai Karate. The training is based on mutual respect and focuses on building character, self-confidence and self-discipline. It contains all traditional elements of the karate style, including basics (Kihon), forms (Kata), full contact fighting (Kumite), self-defense (Gosin Jitsu) and breaking (Tameshiwari). Sensei Carlos Vega is one of the best teachers out there, with very high knowledge of his craft, over 40 years of experience, including the teachings of Shihan Bobby Lowe in Hawaii, and down to earth, easy to understand instruction style, that will surprise and delight you. During my over one year of learning here, I have absorbed more knowledge, than I have ever thought possible, gained great experience and still learning more every day. Sensei Vega gives me inspiration and motivation, and his personal involvement with every one of us never sees to amaze me. The strongest karate made it to Orlando. My 13 yrs son love's it. The atmosphere is great and all the students are very welcoming. Sensei Carlos Vega is a wonderful teacher with vast years of experience. I noticed on my son a great change in regards to his discipline and focus, also more skilled, confident and motivated. The prices are unbeatable in comparison with other Martial Arts schools. This Dojo is a hidden gem. Full contact kumite is a great adrenaline rush. Give it a try and you won't regret it.
