First off, let me just say: Gracie Barra Orlando is hands down the BEST! Hey there 👋🏽 I’m Tiara, and if you’re reading this review, trust me—keep going. Every summer for the past 4 years, I bring my two nieces down from Michigan to Florida. Normally, it takes about a full week to adjust to Auntie Tiara's household—rules, routines, discipline and all that good stuff. But this summer? GAME. CHANGER. I enrolled them in the Gracie Barra Kids Program, and I noticed a shift after just ONE class. That night, they were knocked out cold by 9:30 PM 😴—and I mean out like lightbulbs. Laundry? Folded and put away after their showers. Attitudes? Respectful. Energy? Balanced. They respected me, respected each other, and most importantly—respected themselves. I was shook—in the BEST way! They’ve been laughing, playing, and encouraging each other like true teammates. And if you’re still reading... oh yes, it gets better. After just ONE WEEK of GB Orlando, I’ve even learned a thing or two as their Auntie. Thanks to Professor Jameson, I started giving them options with time frames instead of barking orders. You know what happened? They chose. They committed. They followed through. Like little disciplined warriors. 🤯 And this right here? This sealed the deal: I overheard my 8 and 9-year-old having a conversation. Carli (the younger one) was talking, and Nyla (the older) interrupted. Carli paused, then calmly said, "I stopped talking because you interrupted me. I’ll wait until you're done." Excuse me?! Did she just set a BOUNDARY?! 🫢😮‍💨 Long story short— They’re smiling more, listening harder, getting stronger, communicating better, and yes... learning how to choke people out with love 😂🥋 If you’re thinking about enrolling your child here—DO IT. It’s not just martial arts. It’s respect. discipline. confidence. and growth—for both the child and the parent. Forever grateful, Tiara 🫶🏽 #AuntieApproved

To start off the place really is filled with professional fighters in there and is one of the best locations. The staff there is very friendly and flexible and trustful people! I also saw many children discipline in a positive way and having fun at the same time. To which all the staff were awesome with kids. I also want to give a big shoutout to Professor Jamisin! He was a very wise, kind, helpful mentor and really was great with connecting with me on a mentor level and amazing at training me to protect myself to which he emphasizes a lot. Him and his family are very kind souls and had an honor of being trained by Professor Jamisin and promise you would benefit being trained by him and going to that gym location. 10/10 ✨👍🏻

My boys love the family here at Gracie Orlando! Professor Jamisin promised me progression in my boys and the confidence boost he and his team have given my sweet boys is amazing! I recommend this place to anyone looking to give their sweet, gentle kids a confidence boost for the rough world out there. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could 💙

This is a great school. The professors are knowledgeable and push you. Head Instructor Prof Roger is competing at a high level, and has a great way of breaking down positions. Prof Ray has deep knowledge and something that draws students at 6am. Everyone here is trying to help you get better. Three of my kids and I have been training here for years. The level keeps going up. Fit classes, striking classes, Gi, No Gi, Judo, competition classes, movement classes. If you have not tried this academy, you are missing out! Update: it is a special school that has 7-9 black belts that show up to classes and push everyone. This is a different academy.
