This gym is the real deal! Coach Eric is very patient and has a deep love/appreciation for the sport of boxing. I came in with a small amount of prior boxing experience (self taught) and Coach Eric has worked with me to go back to basics and get me more fit along the way. I've tried other boxing gyms around the area over the years and am happy to say my search is over. Offering structured fitness focused classes, general boxing instruction, and open gym, Magic City is perfect for any skill level. With experienced boxers and novices like me sharing the same space, the gym is incredibly welcoming and inclusive. I've never once felt intimidated or out of place there. You get back what you give in this gym and if you're willing to work you will see results and grow as a person.

This is the first boxing gym that I’ve been to in years that gave me that “home” feeling. You can’t even explain it. You just walk in and it’s there. I came in on a day pass and everyone treated me like I’d been there for years. I’m already looking forward to coming back. I learned so much in my short time there. 10/10 recommend. If I was living in Orlando full time I’d sign up on the spot lol

I can't even explain my experience there. I'm from Brazil and was in Orlando for a business trip, and I took the opportunity to train at the gym during the week. The gym is located a bit far from the hotel areas (15mi from Universal Blvd) but it was simply the best decision I made, totally worth the 30mi each day. Starting with the atmosphere, I felt like I was in a boxing gym from a movie. The décor, the environment is really cool. They have a small equipment shop that's also very good, and I already bought new shoes. Owner Coach Erik welcomes you as if you were at home. His boxing expertise is impressive, and the teachings from both him and Coach Cruz on posture, footwork, and head movement in just one week made all the difference for me as someone who's still a beginner. Now for the service - the owner Coach Erik welcomes you as if you were at home. Beyond boxing, I got exceptional strength, conditioning, and flexibility training from Coach Alex. A world class workout that I'm definitely incorporating into my routine back home. The members welcome you very well and are very helpful too. Bottom line: it was an amazing week filled with great conversations, valuable learning, and new friendships. This is a place I'll return to many times throughout my life.

I highly recommend this boxing gym for several reasons. Coach Eric’s expertise and dedication to both new and experienced members really stand out. I feel comfortable here, I’m pushed to my limits, and I’m seeing real progress. Definitely a 10/10.
