Mano a Mano Jiu Jitsu Academy is an amazing place to train. The coaches are knowledgeable, patient, and truly care about helping you improve. From day one, I felt welcomed and supported. The atmosphere is positive and feels like a real community. Highly recommend for anyone looking to learn, grow, and feel at home on the mats!

I started about a year ago and I have 0 martial arts background so I didn’t really know what to expect and the instructors Pedro and Derrick have been wonderful. I would definitely recommend people to try it out. The vibe is nice and friendly unlike from what people tell me other gyms are like.

What a GREAT group of people. Very kind and welcoming right from the minute of meeting each person. I got some great rolls in today rolling with a black belt, brown belt, purple belt, and two blue belts. I’m grateful for this group; lots of talent here! Added: I came down from Michigan and these people were so welcoming and helped me the week prior to Pans. They literally treated me as if I was a regular student and I ended up winning gold at Pans. These are very nice people I had the honor to train with!

Awesome space! I was visiting from NJ and I was welcomed in to train. Everyone was welcoming and provided awesome rolls! The facility itself was super clean and well presenting. I'm definitely going to train here again when I come to visit Florida!

Great instructors, feels like a family, not just a number in a gym, wants you to do better, and will give constructive criticism, as well as celebrate your accomplishments. Also Xavier is a great training partner.
