Concept Jiu-Jitsu of Clearwater

In town visiting family, figured I would check out a few places to train and was immediately welcomed in. Brian & his students were great technical rolls. It’s great to walk into an academy with no egos & a family atmosphere. Facilities were clean & well maintained. 10/10 highly recommended if your here permanently or like myself just passing through for a short time.

This is the best gym in Clearwater. Prof Brian gives super detailed and broken-down instruction every day. During drilling, he makes his way around to every group to give undivided attention. He’s hands-on when you need help understanding something and makes sure he sees you get everything right before moving on. This was a very eye opening experience compared to my old gym. I also think it’s awesome how Brian wants to roll with everyone in class! The students are friendly and welcoming. I’ve never felt unsafe rolling with anyone here. Lots of LEOs and military. The gym is always clean (and even has showers). Lastly, Renee and Campy do an amazing job making sure everyone has a good time. This is a chill, but professional environment. Definitely the place to be!

We have found our home! My children and husband have started training Brazilian jiu jitsu at Concept BJJ. From the moment we walked in the door, there was a great family atmosphere. Everyone at the gym was welcoming, and the facility was very clean. It is great to see my husband content training again and to watch my children have fun while learning the art. My kids absolutely love Professor Pedro and Brian. In the future if they do decide to compete, learning from Pedro, who is a multi time world champion, is the man I want coaching them.

Was visiting family in the area and my hsuband and I decided to get some training in while we were here. Amazing gym and the kindest people to train with. We'll definitely be coming back next time we're in town.

An excellent place to train! I stopped in for an open mat session and was incredibly impressed with the skill level AND friendliness of the staff! Brian, the lead instructor, was very welcoming and willing to train with everyone multiple times. Renee was also instructing practitioners and she was hilarious! Overall, a great experience!
