I like this place. Staff is always nice and smiling. Other customers mind their business and are rarely if ever rude. Only "issues" ive had are the manager was really pushy about getting me to sign up for their coach services. He has a kind yet aggressive salesman pitch but he's never done it outside the one time they tried getting me to sign up. Its not like he's going to go up to you on a treadmill or in between your set and try to sell you something. He seems like a good dude. Hes been nice to me every other time. All the staff is super nice. I did try inquiring with a Victor about boxing lessons but he never got back to me. Oh well. These haven't brought my score down at all. I would like more trashcan/wipe stations. Theyre currently doing a lot, and I mean, a lot of construction. So hopefully they will add more trashcans. They are decent people working at this establishment. Everytime they have a dance thing, all the women look happy and like they're having fun. Theres sometimes the odd customer that doesnt realize all their shit is in the way. Like they're on their phone instead of working out with their book bag over here, and they're over there kind of thing. Not a big deal, just a minor inconvience. You would get that anywhere. I'd give this place 10/5 stars if I could.

Ben was extremely helpful with my Crunch membership and took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. He was very sweet, patient, and made the entire process easy and stress free. I really appreciated how well he walked me through all the details….amazing service overall.

I’m a college student, and I convinced two of my friends to join with me. They’re now both wanting to cancel their memberships — specifically at this Crunch. They will constantly harass you to sign up for personal training, claiming it’s “to keep you accountable.” Unfortunately, I fell for this trap. I’m now being charged $63 every other week for 30-minute sessions, even though I clearly told them I couldn’t afford it. They wouldn’t stop hounding me about it. On top of that, I’ve been charged for two personal training sessions totaling $120 for appointments I never even had. Once you sign up, they force you into a three-month commitment. I’m extremely frustrated with the entire situation because I repeatedly said I couldn’t afford it, but they kept bothering me until I finally agreed — which is 100% my fault, but still unacceptable. Be aware that they will harass you every time you come into the gym. They do not care if you can’t afford it. I can’t wait to waste another $60 out of the roughly $500 I’ve already given them just to finally be able to end my membership. This is the most ludicrous thing I’ve ever experienced at a gym. This will keep people out that actually want to go.

The whole gym is under renovation which could be great however I truly believe the conditions the gym is currently in is unacceptable for members to be walking through, inhaling all the smoke and dust that is left in the check in area. Now, they say the women’s bathroom is going to be closed for WEEKS for renovations and they have installed portapotties outside. It’s unfair that as a paying customer I am being charged the same amount as someone who goes to the wesley chapel gym and has full access to amenities. With certain memberships, you can’t access other gyms but it costs $20 to cancel or change your membership (each time), so they KNOW that people aren’t going to be doing that and will just be accepting the horrible conditions because the gym is a necessity for people, and most new year new me goers signed a contract they can’t cancel for three months. There’s paint and paint fumes everywhere and no cleaning has been happening. This gym should've just closed or allowed members to go to nearby gyms to truly get renovations done, it’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. Some of the trainers also tend to be very pushy unless you get stern with them, and I have had a horrible experience bringing friends in because they always pressure them. If you have not gotten a membership and have other gyms in the area please reconsider. Crunch unfortunately only cares about their income, and this specific gym is NOT up to standards and will not be for months it seems.

This is not the best gym I’ve ever been to. At the moment, it’s under construction, with a lot of dust inside, and the staff is not the friendliest. It is much better than it was a couple of months ago after they hired a manager named Henry. However, the sauna isn’t warm enough to be called a sauna at all, and the showers are often dirty, with flies inside. Still, it’s a basic gym with free weights, and I didn’t plan to write such a negative review—until now, when I had a reason. Long story short: I understand that today things might be different, but I’m the kind of person who prefers to speak with people in person and make connections rather than just staring at a phone screen. About 95% of the time, these interactions are positive. Occasionally, there is a misunderstanding, and when that happens, I apologize, wish peace, and continue my workout. However, my workout was interrupted by the head coach, also known as the manager of the personal training department, Freddie Williams. I had interacted with him before. From my perspective, he clearly knew the person I had spoken with earlier that day. The situation itself was nonsense and not worth explaining, but what is worth explaining is how Freddie treats clients he doesn’t like and how unprofessional he is. He immediately told me not to interact with people, said that the gym is “not a dating pool,” and later I learned that he lied. When I asked why he took the other person’s side without hearing my point of view and why he chose such a rude approach, he said someone from the staff had already spoken to me about this issue. That is not true—no one ever told me not to interact with other gym members or that I was making anyone uncomfortable. I respect people’s personal time at the gym, and if someone tells me they’re busy, I don’t bother them. I suggested we speak later. After I finished my workout, I calmly asked who had supposedly spoken to me before. At that point, he started dodging the question and interrupting me, especially since other people were around and it was no longer a one-on-one conversation. He then said several offensive things about me, claiming that I bother women, that I only think about getting them into bed, and that they add me to a “blacklist” after dates. This felt extremely personal and inappropriate. I don’t know why he thinks he knows me. He kept interrupting me, and the best decision in that moment was simply to agree and move on. I asked for his boss’s name and told him honestly that I would leave a review because he is unsuitable for his position. He lies, interrupts, is very rude, and behaves in a xenophobic manner. He also brings personal relationships into professional situations to manipulate outcomes. I noticed later, while doing cardio, that he invited the same person over and asked her to fill out forms. It was obviously related to our interaction, and it was clear they are very close acquaintances. I have no idea why this was necessary, but it felt like retaliation after I spoke to him directly. Perhaps he felt humiliated, and if so, I apologize. I initially took a defensive stance because of his accusations. In the end, this interaction made me feel uncomfortable for the rest of the day and unsure whether I even want to return to this gym.
