Davinci is an amazing place to learn and practice BJJ. Coach Davinci has incredible technical and teaching skills. The environment is clean and organized, and people are friendly. It is also a good place to make friends. The Kids' class is great for developing confidence, self-control, exercising, and last but not least having fun. My wife, daughter, and I started BJJ at Davinci last year and I see a lot of improvement in all the areas I've mentioned. I recommend Davinci BJJ.

Professor David is a wealth of knowledge and has cultivated an encouraging, dedicated, diverse group of people. When you enter, you instantly feel welcome. During class, techniques are detailed and comprehensive- largely because David is considerate of the students comfortability grasping moves. If a majority of a class is grasping a technique quickly, he will add other options and defenses to it. If a class struggles, he breaks it down so that everyone has a fair shot. The integrity of the technique and the positive environment makes Davinci an easy 5 stars; not to mention the competitive value compared to other schools in the area. Edit: David can teach in both English and Spanish 🤯

Hobbyist focused gym with a great community and very technical instruction. I trained twice as a drop-in student with Professor David and Coach Ross. Vibe: Super welcoming and friendly. Mostly hobbyist families. Everyone is respectful. Not super strict or traditional. Instruction: Prof David has a deep understanding of everything jiujitsu and conveys it in an easy digestible way. He also keeps up to date with the competitive meta. Very patient and student centered. Coach Ross was very helpful especially with the younger practitioners - firm and friendly without being overly strict. Hygiene: Professor David ensures the mats are sanitized and clean. I’ve witnessed him attend to this personally on both my visits. Rolls: This is a newer school (less than a year old) so there are a lot of white belts but they roll very safely. The colored belts are very tough and technical but they didn’t try to rough me up during my visit. Professor David is like a magician - blink and he’ll have you in a bad position. Drop-in: Super easy - just visit their website to sign the digital waiver and pay the $20 drop-in fee. I recommend showing up already dressed for class around 5-10 mins prior to class as they lock the doors for the safety of the kids class that happens right before the adults class.
