The coaching is exceptional, but the real gem is the supportive community of experienced members who are more than happy to assist you in your learning journey. My two kids have been in the kids’ class for almost two years now, and the coaching is top-notch. The coaches are patient and create a fun and engaging learning environment for the kids. If you’re looking for a place to grow your Jiu jitsu skill set there isn’t a better place in the area!

I recently started Jiu Jitsu and my experience at this gym has been really great. It can be very intimidating to come into any new gym, let alone a new discipline like BJJ. Professor Leandro is an amazing coach - many years of experience, full of knowledge, and creates a very welcoming environment. All the students have also been really friendly and willing to help you learn. It really feels like a team. The last two months have been awesome, highly recommend this gym!

Gracie Humaita is much more than a place to learn Jiu Jitsu. As Professor Leandro preaches, it is the lessons you learn on the mats week after week that transform you. While the practice is not easy, the people here sure make it enjoyable. You will walk in day one and think everyone has super powers. If you keep showing up, you still will not have super powers BUT you will have good Jiu Jitsu, good friends, and a better outlook on life’s challenges. I can’t recommend this gym enough to anyone in Pinellas. Show up and you will be greeted with open arms that will turn you into a pretzel (kindly)!
