About
Buckhead Fight Club offers comprehensive training in MMA, boxing, Muay Thai, and kickboxing under the guidance of experienced coaches. The facility features multiple rings, over 50 bags, locker rooms with showers, a sauna, workspace, and free parking. Head coach Terri Moss, a Women's Boxing Hall of Famer, leads a team that includes assistant head coach Juan Diaz and specialized instructors for advanced boxing, boxing fitness, and kids programs. Many members appreciate the positive atmosphere and family friendly environment, with staff like Andy, Juan, and Jazz receiving specific praise for their welcoming and helpful approach. The gym hosts amateur events that draw enthusiastic crowds, creating a vibrant community for martial arts enthusiasts. While most reviews highlight excellent coaching and a supportive environment, some members note challenges with overcrowding during peak classes, which can lead to sharing equipment. A few isolated complaints mention inconsistent customer service experiences, particularly regarding class placement assessments and communication from management. The gym's reputation as a legitimate training facility is bolstered by its connection to Atlanta boxing legend Johny Gant and the professional credentials of its coaching staff.

A great fight club owned by a Women's Boxing Hall of Famer. The crowd at the amateur event was amazing. It was family friendly.

This was my first time to see any big boxing club. Legend Johny Gant owner of Atlanta Art of Boxing Center couching since 2002. He gave a me a complete visit of facility. Explained about couching from beginning to professional level and told how his parter WIBF World Champion “Terry Moss” running this place successfully. Terry Moss is best in class in couching, unfortunately she was out of town and I missed chance to meet her.

Now as a disclaimer I do believe that reviews are often reflection of one bad experience and not a cumulative fair assessment. I previously used to attend this gym and take their boxing fitness class and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The instructors are amazing and very warm and it is welcome for all skill levels. The only con is sometimes the class can be very overcrowded and you could end up sharing your bag with someone, which if you’ve ever boxed before is a total nightmare. Recently, I have been taking boxing lessons for several months and wanted to sign up for their advanced class for more of a challenge, and not only did they turn me away, but they turned me away without a fair assessment of my skill level, they had me warm up on the jump ropes and then told me to join the junior class. The customer service was lacking and the owner of the gym just kept sending a messenger to talk to me without actually addressing me and she was standing 20 ft away. I felt incredibly rejected and disrespected and felt they were not living up to the reputation as a training gym, if they are turning away people who need training. Moreover the gym owner clearly has favorites as she allows her inexperienced 14 year old daughter in the advanced class who it lollygagging instead of actually training people who want to be better. The receptionist knows absolutely nothing, don’t bother asking any questions as she’ll just give a very empty smile and state she has no idea. The customer experience here could be far improved as well as the professionalism, cleanliness and organization. Wasted my time and I left incredibly disappointed . 2/5.

Do not train with Demond (BodybyDemond on IG). Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. He sat down eating during sessions while I struggled, discouraged water breaks, and left me dehydrated. His attitude is terrible, impatient, rude, and yelling at clients like he can talk to you any kind of way. I paid $350 and walked away after the third session because of his behavior. On that same day, he suddenly tried to have me sign liability and refund papers that should've been done from the start.... very shady!!! When I tried to address it, he blocked my number and IG. Straight scam behavior. Save your money and go elsewhere.
