Master Joaquin is awesome! He is great with the kids. He relates to them, and encourages, and pushes them to be their best. I have seen a positive difference in my daughter's self-esteem since becoming part of the Oh Do Kwan family.

We highly recommend Oh Do Kwan Striking Academy for anyone looking to learn martial arts. Our two boys started at 5 years old. The instructors are incredibly patient and knowledgeable (Joaquin, Bryce, and Brandon). Our children have not only improved physically but also gained a noticeable boost in confidence; the positive impact on their overall development is evident both at home and school.

The dojo here the team the leadership are really great. With a variety of young men and women who are having fun but also learning some valuable lessons concerning discipline and skill. I had a such enjoyable time seeing one of my young men receive his black belt. I have a newfound respect for anyone who achieves such a momentous level.

Signed up my boy up and he’s a few months into learning the art of Muay Thai Kickboxing. I’m looking forward to him developing skills and techniques that will prepare him for his future. So far, so good! He still has a long way to go.. I’m excited to see how he progresses.
