Shihan Mike of this Martial Arts Center of Tucker is the best! I had my 6 year old daughter attend here for a couple of month and from her attitude to her mindset has been altered for the better. I myself as a father have learned plenty from Shihan Mike while myself and my daughter attend these classes. He's very informative, helpful, and kind to each and everyone he comes across. A VERY FAIR MAN and is very careful with every children he teaches. HIGHLY recommended!

Our son has been studying Karate with Shihan Mike for about a year, and we have loved our experience. Shihan Mike has a firm but kind and fun teaching style that really resonates with kids. He does an excellent job teaching strong fundamentals while also reinforcing important life skills like focus, respect, and perseverance. He takes the time to get to know each child and adapts his feedback to help them succeed. Highly recommend The Martian Arts Center.

We’ve had an incredible experience at The Martial Arts Center! Shihan Mike is an outstanding instructor who goes above and beyond teaching martial arts. Beyond the physical techniques, he instills invaluable life lessons and positive behavior in the kids. It’s clear that the focus isn’t just on kicks and punches, but also on character development and discipline. The dojo also keeps an eye on the kids’ progress both at home and at school, making it a wonderful environment for growth. We couldn’t be happier with the positive impact this dojo has had on our kids!

Shihan Michael Hernandez and his leadership teams does a phenomenal job in reinforcing the importance of personal discipline as a sustainable life skills to his students. It has been enjoyable to witness the growth of my daughter and so many students from across our community.

It’s been awhile but the treatment I received here still disappoints me. A second degree brown belt should not be intentionally hitting a white belt or beginners with full strength. This institution did not begin with the foundation of respect and mentorship that is imperative to martial arts. The attitude after I was kicked at full strength during a trial class by an advanced student who also worked there was completely dismissive with no regard for his lack of safety when I said the pad was too close and he had me move closer. I did not feel safe here or respected.
