reviewsWhat Members Say
Members consistently describe Warrior Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy as having a family style atmosphere where they feel immediately at home. They praise specific coaches by name, including Vic Rosati's expertise and teaching style, Thomas Wooley's MMA coaching and one on one sessions, and Nate Mann's instruction. Reviewers highlight the clean facility, welcoming front desk staff, supportive environment where higher belts help lower belts, and opportunities for competition training. One negative review expressed concerns about trial class transparency and inclusion practices in children's classes, though this appears isolated among overwhelmingly positive feedback.

We were looking for a place for our son to learn a skill that would be useful in life and get him moving. The instructors at Warrior Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy made us feel comfortable right away, we knew from the first class that our son attended that coach Vic Rosati was the real deal. Their teaching style is clear, patient, and always encouraging, which helped our son improve his self confidence and he is growing in a healthy and supportive environment. We especially appreciate how they break down each move and give personalized feedback. Coach Nate has been a fantastic teacher. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone- from young kids to adults-looking to learn Jiu Jitsu or improve their self defense skills. The kids program is outstanding.

I have been a member of this gym for several years and it feels like family. The banter and support is great, the higher belts are always willing to help the lower belts improve and push harder, and everyone has much respect for each other because we are all in there doing something difficult and helping each other get better. I had to take a long break for almost 2 years and on my first day back I immediately felt at home again. This is a great environment. If you want to learn Jiu Jitsu or MMA, I highly recommend Warrior. This gym is also very active in local competitions and there are several experienced fighters on the coaching roster so you have every opportunity to take it to the next level if that's your goal.

I have trained at this gym for a few years now, I have fought and currently still fight under Warrior Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Every single practice and training camp there has been impeccable dedication and upstanding commitment from Vic Rosati and Thomas Wooley. Not to mention it is always clean no matter what day or time you’re in the gym. The ladies at the front desk are always nice and welcoming, along with the entirety of the gym it is nothing short of a family style feel.

Been training here for about over a year now. Professor Vic has helped me a lot with my grappling, most down to earth and selfless man! He’s a genius when it comes to anything on the jiu jitsu game. The ladies at the front desk always greet me with a smile and always asks how my day was. Coach Thomas who’s our mma coach has helped me grow exceptionally as a fighter as well. His 1 on 1 sessions he offers has improved my boxing skills immensely. Great environment and training at this place!

I recently signed my four-year-old son up for a free trial jiu-jitsu class. While the woman at the front desk was very kind and welcoming, the overall experience left us quite disappointed. My son was very excited and eager to participate. He actively raised his hand, stood up, and tried to engage with the instructor several times, but he was never called on or included in the exercises. At the end of the class, the instructor told me that trial students were not allowed to participate — something I wish had been clearly explained before we drove almost an hour to attend. Had I known that the trial consisted only of watching, I would have made a different decision. My child is very active and thrives in extracurricular activities, and I have no doubt he would have done wonderfully if given the chance to try. What also left me uneasy was noticing that none of the children of color were included in the activities that day. I can’t say for sure what the reason was, but it did make me uncomfortable and concerned. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don’t feel comfortable enrolling my child or paying for future classes. I hope the school will consider being more transparent with parents and more inclusive in how they engage with all children.
