So many great things to say about Alliance Boise and Professor Victor! The instruction is top notch, the facility is clean, and everyone is very welcoming. Learning from an IBJJf World Champion is special! Whether you are a hobbyist, a competitor, or someone who wants to learn a new martial arts for yourself or kids, I would highly recommend Professor Victor/Alliance Boise!

I frequently train when I’m in Boise for board meetings and seminars. Usually I’m on the west side where I train at the Eagle location. However, when I’m staying downtown or on the east side I drop in here. I really appreciate Victor’s instruction and insight. Rolling with him is next level. It reminds me of when my wrestling coach in high school would bring his Olympian friends to town to train us. Victor is a world class athlete of that caliber.

Alliance Boise is a great place to train. The instructors are very welcoming and supportive and super knowledgeable in jiu jitsu. I am very happy to be learning from them and the people that train there are great as well. I highly recommend it!

I’ve trained jiu jitsu for 10 years now, and for the past year I’ve been training with Professor Victor at Alliance Boise. I’m 40 years old. I still love this sport as much as ever and Alliance Boise gets the credit for that! It gives me a great community, keeps me in shape, and the constant fun of learning new things. Alliance Boise works perfectly for me. The academy is clean, the training environment safe, and you get high-level black belt instruction. The culture is fantastic and it’s genuinely family friendly too. After training at different gyms over the years, I was looking for instructors who really notice the small details and help fix even tiny things in your technique. That’s exactly what I found here. Professor Victor and the team are great at spotting those little improvements, no matter what skill level you’re at. If you’re a parent looking for a place for your kids, I recommend Alliance Boise without hesitation. The curriculum and teaching method are excellent, and all the kids coaches are outstanding. The environment is welcoming and fun. Just schedule a trial class. You’ll see respectful kids training together, and with time your child can grow into a talented athlete here. For adults, it’s never too late to start. The most important thing is finding a safe place where you won’t get hurt. I’ve trained and visited a lot of academies and Alliance Boise is by far the safest one I’ve found. They work with you no matter your age, athletic background, or fitness level. There are several good jiu jitsu schools in the Treasure Valley, but my top recommendation is Alliance Boise (and their Eagle location too). Thank you Professor Victor and the whole Alliance Boise team. You’ve built something special.
