I came into sensai Jeff’s gym as someone who’s never practiced BJJ. I had several years of Judo experience and wanted to further develop and round out my grappling game. Jeff, his assistant instructors, and his students have all been very welcoming allowing me to become part of the club. Not just BJJ but the social aspects of becoming a club member. Sensai Jeff even allowed a judo instructor of mine start to teach his students Judo. This is a great club with friendly people and a great place to develop skills as a all around grappler from take downs to submissions

I’ve been training BJJ at BJJ X Yoga Studio for almost a year and a half, and I love that place. The professor, Jeff, and students there are very friendly and helpful. As a white belt, I not only roll with other white belts, but also with blue, purple, and even black belts. That being said, I learn not only from the professors, but also from students who have a higher rank than me. They are always willing to help with techniques whenever I ask. I also like it there because it’s a small gym. I can ask the instructor questions and get an instant response right away. BJJ has helped me make more friends and get into better shape. It’s not easy, especially in the beginning, but you can at least get a free pass and try it out to see if you like it or not.

My son (10y) and I have been training here for almost 4 yrs now. Great atmosphere and welcoming training partners. Jeff is a top level instructor who allows you to learn at your own pace. My jiu-jitsu and health and fitness have improved so much, so happy I found this place!

Dropped in for an open mat with their BJJ team, Iron Jiu Jitsu. Couldn't have had a better experience. They're easy to find and the quality of instruction was excellent. I got to roll with Professor Jeff and a few of the students and their skill level was great. Professor Jeff truly cares about his students development not just in skill but as human beings, evidenced by a young blue belt Nola who I had the pleasure of working with as well. The facility is large enough for multiple groups to be rolling simultaneously as well. The school was also very clean. Highly recommend anyone traveling hobbyist or competitors traveling through or interested in BJJ contact the school and schedule a class (which I think can be done on their website as well.) Thank you Iron Jiu Jitsu for a wonderful experience! Oss! 🙏🥋💪
