Joined a little over a year ago to help ground me, when my life was feeling pretty rocky, also wanted to learn more life basic skills. Did not realize how much it would change my life for the better. It’s not just a regular jujitsu gym, but this particular group/family/community of individuals that help and support you to grow and surpass obstacles you’re struggling with is different in the best way- every day on the mat you learn something new. You’re not just showing up for yourself, but for others as well. It’s wholesome, fun, safe, and educational. Not to mention you’re learning from the BEST; shoutout to all the Professors!! Hannett, Andre, JT, Vini, Sharon, Kristin. Ya’ll the bees knees! 😁 AHEM…Did I mention it’s woman owned? Yezzir, don’t worry if you know nothing about the art/sport, they will take the time and teach you everything. #OOSSS 💙

I've never been to a gym with a more welcoming and family environment. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, you'll be warmly welcomed, feel comfortable, and given the opportunity to learn. The professors, the teammates and the culture are unmatched and have helped me fall back in love with jiu jitsu. Not to mention the professors are world class! I feel lucky to be a part of this community and highly encourage anyone thinking about joining a gym to come to Brazil-021.

They also have a Women's class self-defense which is great, as a woman know how to defend yourself these days is so important. Professor Andre and Professor Hannette are amazing ,they dedicate their lives to jiu-jitsu. Brazil 021 is an above and beyond

My son has been a student of this studio for years now and I cannot sing its praises enough. The owner Professor Andre is one of the warmest and kindest people I have met. But he also knows exactly how to speak to and teach the students so they listen and learn. It's pretty incredible to watch. My son also has Professor Sharon as an instructor and she is just as fabulous - very patient, kind, but really excels at getting these crazy 4-6 year olds to listen. Cannot recommend this studio enough. AND I cannot recommend jiu jitsu enough for any kid - girl or boy - because it gives them so much confidence and discipline while also learning an extremely useful life skill: self-defense.
