Lacuna Events by LM is easily one of my favorite wedding venues in Chicago. I photographed Jordan and Jaclyn’s wedding here this summer, and it was nothing short of unforgettable. Their day flowed beautifully between the industrial warmth of the loft spaces and the breathtaking views from the rooftop Skydeck — the kind of setting that makes every photo feel cinematic and timeless. As a wedding photographer, I love how much variety Lacuna offers. The exposed brick, large windows, and art-filled hallways give so much texture and character, while the rooftop skyline views at golden hour are truly unmatched. It’s the perfect mix of modern Chicago energy and romantic, old-world charm. Lacuna Lofts saved the day after our first venue closed. We loved the unique space. The food was amazing, some of our guests said it was the best wedding dinner they've ever had! (The mashed potatoes were a real crowd pleaser.) It ended up raining on our wedding day, so we had to pivot and have our ceremony in Magik Street rather than the skydeck. The space ended working perfectly with our flowers and our guests still got to grab photos on the roof during cocktail hour.

Fantastic venue for a party! Rooftop wedding view of Chicago. Murals everywhere add to the allure. Quirky Pinball Museum on 2nd floor is a great place to spend time.

I photographed Miranda and Justin’s wedding at Lacuna Lofts this fall, and wow! This place is a total dream for a photographer! The building has so much character. Big windows, cool brick walls, and tons of charm everywhere you look. I love how the light fills the rooms. Soft, warm, and perfect for photos. You can point your camera in any direction and the space just works. The team at Lacuna Lofts was amazing too. Super friendly, super helpful, and always making sure everything ran smoothly. They took great care of the couple, their families, and all of us vendors. It made the whole day feel relaxed and happy. The rooftop views? Stunning. Perfect for photos that feel a little extra special. And the reception space looked incredible! Such a great mix of modern and artistic vibes. If you’re looking for a venue with personality, beautiful light, and a staff that truly cares, Lacuna Lofts is a fantastic choice. I can’t wait to photograph another wedding there!

We were there for a wedding. The ceremony and cocktail hour were on the deck. The reception was just a few steps down on the fifth floor. A beautiful location with lovely views. We had to pay $12 to park in the lot.
