We couldn’t be more grateful for everyone at POW. They all take such great care of our daughters whether it is during the weekly classes or the day off camps or the summer camps. Coach Lizzie has especially made it easy for us to know our kids are in a fun and safe environment. You can tell she is passing down her enthusiasm and care to the newer crew of coaches too. Also a great environment for kids birthday parties. POW is the best.

I joined the semi private program at pow gym in April and haven’t looked back. Not only have the workouts been tailored to me but I’ve seen a significant improvement in my strength and has helped with a chronic shoulder pain. The staff is knowledgeable and very supportive for wherever you are in your fitness journey. The gym itself is always very clean and organized. Pow gym is an amazing small business in the West Loop that I highly recommend.

We’ve been bringing our son to Pow Gym for kids and youth classes for almost seven years now, and it’s been a fantastic experience from the start. They offer great drop-off programs that keep younger kids active and engaged - the superhero training classes are a favorite! Our son has also attended their summer camps and school day-off programs, all of which have been incredibly fun and well-run. The environment at Pow Gym is positive and supportive, and the coaches are truly dedicated, they make every session enjoyable while helping the kids grow. Their youth athlete program is especially impressive; they take the time to assess each child and place them in the right training group to help them progress safely and effectively. We feel very fortunate to have Pow Gym in our neighborhood!

I have been coming to POW for almost two years. After training with Lizzi for a few months, I knew it was the perfect gym for me. It has been difficult watching my parents age and have energy and mobility issues, and now that I'm in my 40s, I have decided that I really don't want that for myself. Believe me, I'm not one to join a gym. They are expensive and pretentious and overall, pretty dull. Not POW. It's an entirely different atmosphere, and there is always something new. The trainers are highly knowledgeable and work with all age groups, regardless of their status or ability. They care. They keep their eye on you and modify if needed, and push you if necessary. My favorite classes are the Total Body Performance Conditioning with Kat and Strength & Mobility with Liz. And let's not forget Boxing! Not to mention the people who come with it, who end up being a kind of second family that all look out for one another. It's not a gym, really; it's a life experience and a great community. POW has changed my overall outlook on health and the importance of strength training. And I'll be forever grateful.

I’ve been doing semi-private training sessions at POW! Gym for a couple of months now and it’s easily the best fitness experience I’ve had. The owner and all of the trainers are very friendly and motivating. The semi-private format is perfect. You get real coaching / form fixes, programming that fits your level, while you make steady progress at a far more affordable price than one-on-one private training. Workouts are challenging, varied, and never boring. I’m stronger, moving better, and actually consistent for the first time in years. If you’re looking for a place that feels personal and delivers results without the big-gym chaos, this is it. Highly recommend trying a session.
