Dropped in to train on a trip to Chicago, The staff and students made great training partners, and treated me as though I was one of their own. Professor Idriz was incredibly welcoming and personable, took his time to talk to me after class and tell me about his bjj journey. Definitely worth the detour to stop by and support. If I'm ever back in town I'll definitely visit again

Stopped in at Supreme Jiu Jitsu in Lincoln Park while visiting Chicago, and the experience was absolutely top-notch. From the start, the hospitality was incredible — Mike welcomed me right in, Hamza (Idriz’s son) personally introduced himself, and Professor Idriz himself even offered me a roll. That kind of warmth is rare and truly made me feel at home. Despite it being a holiday, the mats were a full house — packed with energy and filled with high-level technical grapplers who made me put in real work. The vibes were immaculate and the training was sharp. On the way out, Idriz even showed me where Khamzat Chimaev, the current UFC champion, signed the wall — a cool touch that shows the caliber of the gym. Whether you’re local or just traveling through, I 100% recommend dropping in. Supreme Jiu Jitsu is the real deal and an absolute gem in Chicago.

I’ve been training here for two years, and it’s become my home away from home — my family by sweat! The professors and coaches are amazing — incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and always pushing you to get better, no matter your skill level. The atmosphere is safe, friendly, and super welcoming. The school is always clean and the locker rooms (with showers!) are great. They offer a good mix of gi and no gi options, and bring in guest instructors to teach new techniques. Can’t recommend this place enough. Whether you’re just getting started or a seasoned grappler looking for a solid community, this is the spot!

In town for a short trip and Supreme Jiu Jitsu was kind enough to let me drop in. Very clean welcoming gym and great instruction from Professor Perez Figueroa Jr. Would love to come back next time I'm in Chicago!

Supreme Jiu jitsu is amazing! My daughter has been coming here for a few months and we have tried so many other places before signing up here. There is no other kid class in the area that incorporates as much conditioning, movement and technique as Supreme. Not to mention the community of instructors here are wonderful with the kids not only teaching them skills but how be respectful and build confidence. We highly recommend Supreme Jiu Jitsu
