The Bridge is an outstanding jiu-jitsu gym for both kids and adults. The coaches are highly skilled, patient, and genuinely committed to their students' growth and success. Richie, in particular, does an incredible job working with the kids - instilling perseverance, building confidence, and creating a positive, encouraging environment. I highly recommend The Bridge to anyone looking to gain more than just self-defense skills!

As someone new to Jiu-Jitsu, I felt very welcomed and supported in this class. The instructor broke everything down in a way that was easy to understand and encouraged questions. The atmosphere was respectful, motivating, and fun. I learned a lot and felt accomplished by the end of class. I’m excited to keep coming back!

Wouldn’t want to go anywhere else! My child loves it here and is excited to come to practice every time. From the first moment we stepped foot into the gym, everyone there was incredibly welcoming! Thank you all for taking the time and effort to train our youth!

Having trained in martial arts for over the past 20+ years across the country and internationally and also, training amateur and professional fighters at the highest levels, I can say without a doubt The Bridge has the absolute BEST kids jiu jitsu program in Chicago. (There’s a reason they have amassed dozens and dozens of medals and awards). If I have to put a single word on the gym as a whole, it’s passion. All of the instructors do this for the pure love of teaching bjj and the joy of seeing a kid come off the street without confidences and seeing that kid flourish not only in jiu jitsu but also in life just a few months later. Watching Riche teach the kids bjj classes was absolutely incredible to see. His ability to keep the kids on track while also still keeping it fun for them is an art in itself. I really can’t say enough about The Bridge and what they offer for Chicago jiu jitsu training. Kids and adults both have an amazing place to train no gi or gi jiu jitsu right here at The Bridge! 🥇🥋

I've had an incredible experience training at the Bridge. The instructors are highly skilled, patient, and truly dedicated to helping every student grow. The environment is always positive, welcoming, and supportive, which made it easy for me to get back into jiu-jitsu after some time away. Every session challenges you to push your limits, and the emphasis on hard work is inspiring. The team here truly feels like family, and I'm grateful to be part of such a great community. I can’t wait to enroll my son here when he's a little older—the coaches and environment provide the exact structure and mindset he needs to be successful.
