Amazing place to train, very welcoming with great jiu jitsu. World class coaches. Kids class is fun and engaging meeting children of all ages and levels where they are. I couldn't recommend a better gym for a family or the competitor. No matter what your jiu jitsu journey looks lIke this gym has the tools to get you to your goals.

This is an awesome place! Best instruction in town. I had a wonderful time learning self-defense. This is the best place to take Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

This is the best place to train Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the Des Moines area. They have awesome adult and kids programs focusing on true Gracie style Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

The owner, Chris genuinely cares about jiu jitsu and about people, and that mindset flows through the entire academy. The instructors are incredibly skilled, patient, and passionate about teaching—not just techniques, but confidence, discipline, and personal growth. They take the time to make sure every student feels supported, no matter their experience level. The kids program is especially outstanding. The instructors do an amazing job creating a fun, structured, and positive environment where kids learn respect, confidence, and self-defense while actually enjoying the process. You can tell they truly want to make a difference in their students’ lives, both on and off the mats.
