Don't let the few reviews dissuade you. This is an excellent gym with a very experienced coach and many friendly and skilled members. Great for anyone with no experience, or actively competing at a high level.

I just started my Muay Thai Journey at 34yrs of age, I previously was bodybuilding and now looking for something a little more challenging. I love the atmosphere and the people at the gym, also the community that is involved with Muay Thai. There is a lot to learn, but the one thing that is instantly noticeable is the respect that is shown around Muay Thai, from Athlete to Athlete and Coach to Athlete. If you are looking for a place, just a hobby or wanting that competive edge. This is the place for you! I highly recommend Roundkick. Pete was easy to get ahold of, I recommend using email... He is a man that wears many hats. He give 100% focus to his members, athletes, and classes. So anyone interested in taking that next step, this is the place for you.

I started my mixed martial arts experience with Team Roundkick and was one of the first to get to fight under its banner over 20 years ago. The head coach and founder, Pete, gave me the skills and mentality to not only learn and train combat martial arts like Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Catch Wrestling, he also taught me practical self defense techniques and strategies and philosophy from styles like Kali, Silat, and Wing Chun. This gym made me feel like I was following in Bruce Lee's footsteps, combining the most effective elements from dozens of different systems into the best martial and self defense style that worked for me and my lifestyle. Across a career that saw me working in schools, prisons, army infantry deployments, special education, and psychiatric crisis intervention and mitigation, this foundation helped me build and mold an effective and ethical use of force and restraint logic in any and all violent encounters I was part of in and off duty. I highly recommend this gym for anyone looking to make martial arts part of their life.
