I give this school a 4-Star because here you can learn excellent Gong Fu forms taught by a Gong Fu master, Grace Wu, who descends from an ancient Gong Fu lineage. But I simply cannot give this school a 5-Star rating because actual application of said forms is not done very often and I consider that to be a real shortcoming. Grandmaster Wu and I have a respectful disagreement on this point. I hope that later she can come to my point of view. But this little disagreement on this point does not subtract from her strong foundation in Gong Fu and her ability to instill excellence of form into her students.

My biggest complaint are the hours, they are open 3 days a week and only a few hours on each of those days. I also left a message and never got a return call, I can therefore only believe they have no interest in new students. So I went there in person and no one answered the big red door. They talk about tradition but thats where they fool you. In China, Kung Fu schools are typically open for much longer hours compared to this school. For example, at the Shaolin Temple Kung Fu Academy, students train for more than 6 hours a day, 5.5 days a week. Similarly, at the Shaolin Tagou Martial Arts School, students also train for more than 6 hours a day, six days a week. These schools provide intensive training programs that require a significant time commitment from students. The extended hours of training are essential for mastering the various techniques and forms of Kung Fu, and they reflect the dedication and discipline required in traditional Chinese martial arts. This school is clearly for show and learning very basic forms.
