I am a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu, 15 years experience, 100s of matches, and have trained at some of the best gyms under the best coaches all over the country. So take it from me, RED RIVER BJJ is top notch and one of the best and friendliest places I have ever been to. The instructors are there to help you to get better and very personable. It is a great choice for beginners and advanced practitioners. Great community of people. You will get a good workout and have fun doing. Focus on both self defense and sportive application. Clean mats with plenty of rolling space. No drama, no bs, just solid JJ. I highly recommend this place.

Definitely an amazing gym to go to. I asked if was able to train for a week since I’m here for a short TDY and was welcomed in. The professors are very knowledgeable, members are respectful and the culture of the gym is very positive and has a strong priority for safety. I observed a little bit the youth class while waiting for the adult class and they displayed a lot of passion and energy for the sport as well. I would love to have my own kids train here if I could. Thanks professors for letting me train with you! Oss!

Today, I dropped into the Adult (Gi) Fundamentals class. It was GREAT!! I was welcomed with open arms, and the main instructor told me he'd once trained under Professor Marra (the academy where I train) when he visited San Antonio. I loved the class format!! All drills were for time with pressure. I trained the majority of the class with a blue belt who pushed me to my limits without "killing me." I'm so happy I could experience a different academy. Everyone has a unique style and something special to pass on to those open to learning.

Visiting Wichita Falls & stopped in for an open mat. Very welcoming coaches+members, clean facilities and well attended by a wide range of practitioners. I’ll look forward to stopping by anytime I’m in the area!
