Best boxing gym by a mile. The energy here is great, it’s supportive but also competitive and makes great for blowing off some steam and getting your hands right! Coach sweet is one of the best in the game. Highly recommended.

Born and raised in Church Point, started boxing at age 11. Trained at Stutes Gym in the early '80s. Mission is to keep kids off the streets and give them purpose.

Born and raised in Lafayette. Not a former boxer but lives and breathes the sport. Dedicated to supporting kids with training, school, and transportation.

Life-long boxing background
Younger brother of Coach Bruce. Handles gym operations, registrations, physicals, and tournament sign-ups. Works closely with youth to keep them on track.

Former professional boxer, Olympic Trials competitor, National Champion
Started boxing in the late '70s, fought in national tournaments, Olympic Trials, and over a dozen international bouts before turning pro in 1983. Now dedicates his life to mentoring youth.
