Great workout! Coach Mac‘s workouts is a good balance of supporting where you are and pushing you where you can get to. It’s also not just a fitness class, Coach Mac interacts with his clients and engages in conversation to build community along with physical fitness. The yoga class w/Jen was also really relaxing/calming.

Fighting Spirit is the best gym in Nola and Coach Mac is the best trainer ever! I leave my workout feeling a great sense of accomplishment knowing that I pushed myself beyond my comfort zone. This is something that carries on into my day and it feels amazing! There’s no way that I could do it without his patience, attentiveness and awesome motivation! My 12 year old son’s new found interest in fitness is what led me to enroll him into training with Mac. Investing in his health was a no brainer and Mac is such an excellent role model! I was so impressed with the confidence I saw him bring out in my son! I have so much respect for the business he’s building and how he gives back to the community. His passion and hard work are so inspiring! If you are looking for someone to help you reach your full potential physically and mentally he is your man!

This is a great place to go if you're an intermediate/ experienced boxer. It's not beginner friendly especially if you don't regularly work out. Mac is an ok trainer from my POV. He's really good at what he does but doesn't understand the difference between pushing past your limits and actively hurting/injuring yourself. I had to quit due to things outside of this place but after our last session I won't be back. He was so glued to his phone most of our hour session that he wasn't registering anything I asked and walked away while I was lifting weights leaving me without a spotter.
