I've been a Member here [ on/off ] Since 2014..Tracy & the Staff are Exceptional @ their Positions, Professional, Courteous, and Patient..This Facility is " Centrally located > Accessible, Pristine Clean and Fit for the Lean' and "Not-So-Mean"..♤◇ 😉.

Bay Club recently underwent a comprehensive refurbishment over the New Year's, which is especially evident in the enhanced look of the smoothie bar and front decor. The sauna and steam rooms also seem to have being upgraded recently as well and are consistently hot and toasty, an absolute necessity for a visiting non-native such as myself to survive the Maine winter chill ...brr.... The entrance staff members are polite and welcoming. In particular, the owner/manager, Mary, goes the extra mile, extending a personalized welcome to newcomers such as myself complete with a radiant smile and recognition by name. The locker/dressing rooms are impeccably clean and well-maintained, complementing the gym's comprehensive and standard fitness equipment. In summary, it's an excellent facility for maintaining fitness, whether you're a resident in Portland or a short-term visitor like myself. A small bonus: they also offer complimentary parking validation for 2 hours at the nearby One City Center garage — an invaluable benefit considering the potentially steep parking rates in the city.
