Empire Dojo

My kids have been taking lessons here for 2 years. The instructors are wonderful and supportive. It really feels like family. My very sweet and kind daughter has found her strength and a level confidence only a challenge like this could uncover. My extremely tough (and sometimes stubborn) son has found an outlet and is understanding the importance of patience and humility. The studio is a clean and welcoming environment. The students are diverse (in many ways). I appreciate that the students are not just expected to show respect, it is consistently modeled. We have come to view their time here as an investment in their physical and mental well-being. Thankfully, they are somewhere that seems to support this same view.

Empire Dojo has been wonderful for my 7 year old! We started in November and everyone has been nothing but supportive, encouraging and kind. My daughter absolutely loves everyone there and making new friends. She’s become more confident in herself and her abilities! River has ADHD so seeing how she’s able to maintain focus and stay on track and be engaged has been amazing!

Our 5-year-old has been attending Empire Dojo for a year now, and the experience has been amazing. The instructors balance discipline with fun, keeping classes well-structured and engaging. The staff is not only fair and friendly but also genuinely invested in my son’s growth—both physically and mentally. We’ve seen such a positive impact on his confidence, focus, and overall development. Empire Dojo has truly been a wonderful influence on our child and our family. Highly recommend!

My son was interested in martial arts and we had been looking for awhile. I wanted a place that had the same values that we did as a family and found Empire Dojo. We immediately felt welcomed. He took a trial class and he absolutely loved it. Empire Dojo has been amazing with my son. He started in the Foundations 4-5 class and it's all that he talks about. All of the teachers are great at keeping the children focused for class. Everyone treats you like family and is very welcoming. If there is a question or concern, it is addressed and handled promptly. I highly recommend this Dojo.

I've attended several Seminars at Empire Dojo. The owner has planned wonderful training events, and each time I've had a great time learning and working with new people. The facility is very well kept and the instructors are knowledgeable and eager to help their students. I'll definitely be visiting for more seminars as I'm from out of town, but the school is definitely worth a visit if you and/or you're children are interested in trying out martial arts.
