I am so glad we found Kells Karate Academy. We were at another dojo for years and I didn’t realize how little we were learning until we moved! The staff here are really great, knowledgeable and patient, and wonderful at teaching. Rather than just running drills, they ensure that everyone is learning the Japanese terms and is doing the different moves properly. My son, who refused to participate a lot of the time in his last dojo, is thriving here.

Our son was interested in learning karate and we got a recommendation for KKA from a school friend. He left his first class with great enthusiasm, looking forward to the next class and the class after that… Fast-forward a few months, he was enjoying learning from Sei Shihan Karen and everyone so much he wanted to host his 6th birthday at the dojo. Sei Shihan Karen, Nada, and her kids put together one of the most fun 2 hours ever— not just for the kids (kids vs adults obstacle course!). We have continued to head to classes twice a week, practice at home, and look forward to seeing our Shihan, Senpais, and classmates each week. Belt promotions are a special time when you really see your kid feel proud of themselves. We are happy to be a part of the KKA family.

So far, we have been thrilled with everything at Kells karate. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and great with the kids. My son, who is 4 1/2, loves the classes. He's focused and engaged and he looks forward to going every week. I can't say enough good things about Kells Karate Academy! We look forward to continuing my son's growth and education for years to come.

My son has been attending Pamfilis Karate Academy since the 1st grade. He has always had a hard time keeping focus. The focus when he is in class is amazing to see. He absolutely loves karate and it has been so much fun watching him work hard and learn from Jun Shihan Karen. His confidence has grown so much in the last two years also. His little sister just joined him a few month ago and has been having so much fun in class.

My 4.5 year old has been going for a few months. Does he follow every direction? Of course not, but he listens better than he did when he started, so that's a win. Karen and the other black belts are very patient with the little ones.
